Position: Sales Training & Development Manager – Consumer Bank

Location: Mumbai
Function: Consumer Banking – Learning & Development / Sales Enablement
Grade: (As per internal banding)
Reporting to: Outbound Head / Training Manager (Consumer Bank)

Department: Credit Card-Marketing HO

Grade: M1 to M3

Key Responsibilities

- Sales Onboarding:
Deliver structured induction programs for current sales hires (CASA, Loans, Credit Cards) to ensure faster readiness and productivity
- Sales Training Delivery:
Conduct training on sales techniques, product knowledge, objection handling, and customer engagement
- Capability Building:
Drive initiatives to enhance selling skills, cross-sell/upsell capabilities, and customer-centric selling approaches
- Product & Compliance Training:
Ensure sales teams are aligned on product updates, policies, and regulatory requirements (RBI guidelines)
- Performance Enhancement:
Analyze sales MIS to identify gaps and conduct targeted refresher training for low performers
- Field Coaching:




Provide on-ground coaching and support to sales teams through field visits and joint calls
- Content Development:
Create training modules, sales playbooks, scripts, and digital learning content
- Stakeholder Management:
Collaborate with Sales Heads, HR, Product, and Compliance teams to align training with business needs

Eligibility Criteria

- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Banking/NBFC Sales or Sales Training
- Prior experience in Consumer Banking or Credit Cards preferred
- Strong understanding of sales processes and frontline challenges
- Proven track record in improving sales performance or enabling teams

Required Skills

- Strong sales training & facilitation skills
- Good understanding of banking products and regulations
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to analyze sales data and identify skill gaps
- High energy, result-oriented, and willingness to travel for field coaching
