In this position, you will lead a multidisciplinary team of digital, electrical, and power specialists, overseeing the design, development, integration, and testing of advanced avionics and power systems for satellites.
You will ensure these systems deliver reliable and optimal performance, even in the most demanding space environments, while meeting strict requirements for mass, volume, and efficiency. As a technical authority, you will collaborate closely with other spacecraft subsystems to balance performance, reliability, and aggressive program timelines.

Responsibilities
Participate in interdisciplinary trade off studies to define and optimize Electrical Power System (EPS) architectures tailored to specific mission profiles.
Lead the team responsible for architecting Command & Data Handling (C&DH;) subsystems, including unit selection appropriate for mission class and radiation environments.
Recruit, mentor, and retain a high-performing team of hardware and firmware engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and rigorous design verification.
Contribute to the implementation, improvement, and standardization of electrical and avionics design workflows and best practices.
Manage departmental budgets, resource allocation, and schedule estimation across multiple concurrent flight programs.
Oversee comprehensive verification campaigns, including Hardware in the Loop (HIL/FlatSat), functional and performance testing, and environmental testing (TVAC, vibration, shock).
Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for electrical and avionics anomalies identified during testing or on orbit operations.
