ReOrbit is looking for a Senior Ground Software Engineer to join the ReOrbit team and support the software campaigns for our current satellite product lines UKKO, SILTA and future missions.

Responsibilities
Design, develop, test and maintain robust ground software systems for satellite communications, spacecraft database and mission operations
Participate in the work of all stages in the software development process
Analysis of customer requirements and flow down into the software documentation
Deliver technical documents and estimates for proposals and reviews
Participate in defining the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and work packages for bids
Definition of test / validation procedures
Support to reviews at all levels of the design, development and testing
Be able to communicate effectively and provide support to Assembly, Integration and Test teams
Skills And Requirements
Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in developing complex software tools
Professional proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language (e.g. Java, Python, C++, etc.)
Experience across the full software development lifecycle, including requirements definition, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in team-based and multidisciplinary environments
Professional experience using version control systems in a collaborative development setting
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, well-structured documentation
Robust attention to detail and commitment to software quality throughout the development process
