Role & Responsibilities
Lead and strengthen the factory's safety culture by ensuring statutory compliance, promoting safe work practices, and maintaining a disciplined and hygienic manufacturing environment.
Develop, implement,
and monitor safety policies and procedures in compliance with the Factories Act, FSSAI, and statutory regulations.
Conduct regular safety inspections, hazard identification, risk assessments, and ensure timely corrective actions.
Conduct safety induction and refresher training on machine safety, fire safety, emergency response, and safe work practices.
Train employees on the secure operation of machinery and promote behavioural safety across the factory.
Ensure strict compliance with PPE usage, including face masks, hair nets, gloves, safety shoes, and uniforms.
Enforce GMP, GHP, hygiene standards, and safe manufacturing practices to prevent contamination and workplace hazards.
Organize fire drills, mock drills, emergency evacuation programs, and incident investigations with corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
