Key Responsibilities Production Support &

- Maintenance

- Provide L2/L3 support for WhereScape RED and/or WhereScape 3D environments.
- Monitor daily ETL batch execution and troubleshoot job failures.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for incidents and recurring issues.
- Handle service requests, incidents, and problem management activities as per SLA.
- Coordinate with business users and stakeholders for issue resolution.

Development & • Enhancements
- Develop and maintain ETL processes using WhereScape RED.
- Implement change requests and enhancements in Data Warehouse solutions.
- Perform impact analysis and effort estimation for support activities.
- Create and modify data models, mappings, and workflows.
- Optimize ETL jobs for performance and reliability.

Data Warehouse Support
- Support enterprise Data Warehouse and Data Mart environments.
- Maintain data quality and perform data validation checks.
- Ensure data consistency across source and target systems.
- Support database objects such as tables, views, stored procedures, and scripts.

Monitoring & • Documentation
- Monitor ETL loads, schedules, and data reconciliation processes.
- Maintain operational runbooks and technical documentation.
- Participate in release deployments and post-deployment validation.
- Prepare support metrics and status reports.

Required Skills Technical Skills
- Strong experience with WhereScape RED and/or WhereScape 3D.
- Experience in Data Warehouse and ETL development/support.
- Strong SQL skills on databases such as:
- SQL Server
- Oracle
- Snowflake
- PostgreSQL
- Teradata (preferred)





- Understanding of Data Warehouse concepts including:

- Star Schema
- Snowflake Schema
- Fact & • Dimension Modeling

- SCD (Slowly Changing Dimensions)

- Experience with ETL troubleshooting and performance tuning.
- Knowledge of scheduling tools and batch monitoring.

Support Skills
- Incident Management
- Problem Management
- Change Management
- SLA Adherence
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA)

Preferred Skills
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Familiarity with ITIL processes.
- Experience with ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or Remedy.
- Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or reporting platforms.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in Data Warehouse/ETL support and development.
- Experience working in 24x7 support environments is preferred.

Soft Skills
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Solid communication and stakeholder management.
- Ability to work independently in an offshore support model.
- Good documentation and reporting skills.
- Experience working with global teams and clients.

Nice to Have
- WhereScape certification.
- Experience supporting Snowflake-based Data Warehouse environments.




- Agile/Scrum project experience.
