DCU:Innovate also helps DCU researchers commercialise their inventions, creating pathways from academic research to market-ready products and services.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Volunteer role based in Badaun. The Volunteer will support DCU:Innovate’s activities by assisting with event coordination, workshops, and innovation programs, including preparations, participant engagement, and basic logistics. Day-to-day tasks may include helping with documentation, maintaining records, supporting communication with partners and participants, and providing general administrative assistance to the innovation team.





The role may also involve gathering feedback, contributing ideas for improving activities, and helping promote DCU:Innovate initiatives locally. Volunteers will collaborate closely with staff and stakeholders to ensure a welcoming, organized environment that enables innovation and collaboration.

Qualifications

- Solid organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with team members, partners, and program participants.
- Comfort with basic digital tools (e.g., email, office productivity software, online forms) to support documentation and coordination.
- Interest in innovation, entrepreneurship, or research collaboration, with a willingness to learn and contribute ideas.
- Ability to work on-site full-time in Badaun, demonstrating reliability, professionalism, and a collaborative mindset.
- Previous experience in volunteering, event support, or administration is beneficial but not required.
