We are a Strategy Studio for Startups. When founders make better choices, they don't just experiment with innovation but rather redefine markets and leave a lasting impact. Our mission is to build strategic roadmaps for these early-stage startups through Pathfinder's proprietary frameworks.

The Role

As a Visual Designer, you turn Pathfinder's thinking into work people can read at a glance - for the founders we serve and for everything we put into the world. This is a hands-on craft role for someone who cares about typography, hierarchy, and structure.

Design at Pathfinder runs across three layers: static work - decks, carousels, memos - then motion, and then interactive, where our content becomes something you play with rather than read. We're building a pod of designers to cover the spectrum.

The work moves fast and rarely runs in a straight line. That's why we work from one space, six days a week: it's the simplest way to keep up with each other.

The Work

● Turn raw inputs - notes, docs, rough slides - into presentations and documents with a clear hierarchy.

● Design our framework visuals: matrices, flows, stage maps, comparisons, checklists, and tables.

● Find the visual logic inside an idea and make the argument land without a paragraph of explanation.





● Maintain and evolve our templates and components - slide styles, layout grids, table systems, chart treatments.

● Create brand and social assets, from LinkedIn carousels and post creatives to thumbnails and website graphics.

● Hold the line on consistency - spacing, typography, alignment, components.

● Own file hygiene - naming, versioning, reusable masters, and clean handoffs.

● Craft Discipline - Get it right down to the last pixel, whether or not anyone's checking.

● Speed with Standards - Move quick without letting quality slip.

● System Thinking - Design so the next output starts easier than the last, not from scratch.

● Imagination Over Imitation - Reason out what works, then bring a fresh angle rather than a borrowed one.

● Ownership - Take artefacts from messy to finished without hand-holding.

The Fit

● 3-5 years in graphic or communication design, ideally in a startup or fast-paced studio.

● Strong fundamentals in typography, layout, hierarchy, and grids.

● Comfortable with information-dense work, not just marketing creative.

● Confident in Figma.

● A portfolio that shows how you think, not just what you've made.

Good to have: motion work in After Effects, or an appetite for interactive design in Rive.
