Job Role: Study Visa Consultant

Role Description:

This is a full-time on-site role as a Student Visa Consultant at Trans Globe, located in Pune. As a Student Visa Consultant, your day-to-day tasks will involve dealing with student documentation, providing visa consultation and assistance to students and parents and offering expert guidance on financial and other student visa-related matters. You will work closely with students and their families to help them navigate the visa application process and ensure a successful outcome.

Qualifications:

- Experience with education consultancy and student visas
- Minimum work experience of 2 years in overseas education or a travel company
- Excellent communication and consulting skills
- Knowledge of immigration policies and procedures
- Robust attention to detail and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and thorough knowledge of all visa-related matters and regulations
- Knowledge of visa portals of different countries
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

Responsibilities:

- Assessing Eligibility: assess the student’s eligibility for a student visa based on the student’s background, academic qualifications, and other factors.
- Guiding on documentation and helping them collect the necessary information and paperwork
- Preparing the student visa application: assist the student in completing the student visa application form, including helping to write a personal statement and providing information on financial support
- Scheduling appointments:



Consultants can help students schedule appointments for visa interviews, fingerprinting, and biometric scans
- Preparing for the visa interview: Advise the students on how to prepare for the visa interview, what to expect during the interview, and how to respond to questions
- Following up on visa status: follow up on the status of the student visa application and provide updates to the student
- Offering post-visa support: Once the student visa is approved, including help with finding housing, enrolling in classes, and adjusting to life in a new country.
