Role Description The Video Editor is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram, working closely with designers, developers, and marketers to create engaging video content that supports client projects and Deskin Studio’s brand. Day-to-day responsibilities include editing raw footage into polished videos, selecting and arranging clips, synchronizing audio, and applying transitions and visual effects that align with project objectives and brand guidelines. The role involves color grading, basic sound cleanup, and integrating motion graphics and graphic elements to enhance storytelling and user experience.





The Video

Editor will collaborate with the creative team to interpret briefs, contribute ideas, and ensure that all video content meets quality standards and deadlines. The position also requires managing media assets, exporting videos in required formats, and staying current with editing trends, tools, and best practices.

Qualifications

- Solid skills in Video Editing and Video Production for creating, structuring, and refining high-quality video content.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent visual tone and enhance overall look and feel.
- Ability to create and integrate Motion Graphics and Graphics to support storytelling and brand messaging.
- Experience with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and motion/graphics tools (e.g., After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Solid understanding of visual composition, pacing, and storytelling, with an eye for detail and consistency.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to interpret creative briefs and incorporate feedback constructively.
- Good organizational and time management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, animation, design, or a related field is preferred; a portfolio or showreel demonstrating previous work is required.
