Role Description This is a part-time, remote Video Editor role responsible for crafting cinematic, conversion-focused video content for a variety of brand clients. Day-to-day tasks include assembling raw footage, selecting and trimming clips, arranging shots into cohesive narratives, and adding transitions, sound, and basic effects aligned with brand guidelines.

The Video

Editor will collaborate with producers and creative leads to interpret briefs, refine story structure, and adapt edits for different digital platforms and aspect ratios. The role also involves optimizing exports for online distribution,



organizing project files, and maintaining a consistent visual style across campaigns. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working with deadlines, and able to receive and integrate feedback efficiently in a remote setting.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Video Editing and Video Production skills, including experience working with skilled editing software and handling digital footage.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent, cinematic visual tone and enhance overall image quality.
- Candidates should demonstrate a solid understanding of pacing, visual storytelling, and sound integration for digital-first video content.
- Candidates should have experience preparing content for social media and digital advertising platforms (e.g., Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, reels/shorts).
- Candidates should be able to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Relevant qualifications, such as prior agency or production experience, a strong portfolio or showreel, and familiarity with color-managed workflows, are highly beneficial.
