About the role
As a presales onboarding engineer, you will be a member of the global strategic team in a highly cross functional role working in a customer facing capacity during evaluations and on strategic team projects and initiatives. You will have the exciting opportunity to build our customer base while working with the presales, sales, skilled services teams. You will be responsible for the successful deployment and configuration of the product as part of validation testing.



In this customer-facing and highly technical role, you will work directly with our customers to ensure their success with Starburst’s product offering. You will partner with field sales and technical presales representatives to technically troubleshoot deployments and ensure the successful completion of winning the technical aspects of the campaign. Responsibilities include working with customers running proofs of value, providing guidance for migration from legacy platforms, assistance with customers moving to production execution of strategic team projects. Onboarding engineers are Starburst experts who will provide technical leadership and project consultation.
