Role Description The Assistant role is a full-time, on-site position located in Surat. The Assistant will support day-to-day yard and office operations, including maintaining records, organizing documents, and assisting with basic data entry. The role involves coordinating with yard staff and supervisors, helping schedule and track container movements, and ensuring that files and logs are accurate and up to date.



The Assistant will respond to phone calls and inquiries, support preparation of simple reports, and help with other administrative tasks as assigned. This position requires a consistent on-site presence to collaborate with the operations team and ensure smooth workflow across departments.
Qualifications

Strong organizational and administrative skills, including record-keeping and document management.
Basic computer proficiency, including use of office productivity software (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, email).
Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members, supervisors, and external stakeholders.
Ability to follow instructions, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced operational environment.
