Job Summary
The Management Staff Trainee (MST) will support hotel operations across different departments and gain practical knowledge of hospitality management. The role involves assisting HODs, monitoring daily operations, maintaining service standards, coordinating with departments, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
• Monitor daily activities and ensure hotel standards and procedures are followed.
• Coordinate with Front Office, F&B;, Housekeeping, Kitchen, Engineering, Security, Stores and HR departments.
• Conduct regular rounds of the property and report operational issues to the concerned HOD.
• Support guest handling and resolve guest complaints professionally.
• Monitor cleanliness, grooming, hygiene and discipline standards.
• Assist in preparing daily reports, checklists and operational records.
• Follow up on pending tasks and ensure timely completion.
• Assist in staff coordination, briefing and departmental meetings.




• Support training activities and help employees understand hotel SOPs.
• Monitor food safety, hygiene and service standards where applicable.
• Assist management during VIP visits, events, inspections and special functions.
• Maintain proper communication between departments.
• Identify operational gaps and report them to senior management.
• Ensure company policies, safety rules and hotel SOPs are followed.
• Perform other duties assigned by the HOD or management.
