Prompt Mortgage is part of the Prompt Real Estate Group, a founder-led US real estate group operating across property management, mortgage, and realty in the Houston, Texas market. Our founding entity, Prompt Property Management LLC, was established in 2019. We are lean, founder-led, and entering our next growth phase.

Location: Remote — India

Employment Type: Full-Time

Shift: US CST hours, Monday to Friday

We are looking for someone with genuine command of US mortgage — not just the mechanics of moving a file, but the underlying logic of why files move the way they do.

Why we are hiring

Our mortgage pipeline is growing, and we need someone who can own files end-to-end across multiple products and support structuring conversations with real product knowledge — not just process what's handed to them.

What you will do

Manage loan files end-to-end across multiple loan products
Transparent underwriting conditions and read AUS output well enough to explain the trigger, not just execute the resulting list




Calculate qualifying income for complex borrower scenarios
Work confidently across conventional, FHA, VA, and non-QM/investor products
Flag structuring risk before it becomes a closing delay
Coordinate with title, appraisal, and insurance vendors
Keep an accurate, current pipeline report

What this role is not

This is an operations and knowledge role, not a licensing role. Taking a loan application or negotiating terms with a borrower requires a US-licensed originator under SAFE Act rules — that does not change regardless of depth of knowledge. This role owns everything short of that line.

Who we are looking for

3-5 years of US mortgage experience spanning the full file lifecycle
Genuine fluency across multiple products — conventional, FHA, VA, and ideally non-QM/investor — with real numbers behind each
Hands-on experience with a loan origination system (Encompass, Empower, BytePro, Calyx, or similar)
Comfortable reading AUS output and explai
