This role is responsible for leading, integrating and continuously improving the business support functions that enable the India business to operate efficiently, compliantly and effectively. The role provides leadership across business administration, corporate governance, company secretarial administration, financial control and reporting, and operational support services.
Working closely with the Managing Director, Group Corporate Functions and external advisers, the Business Services Lead will ensure robust governance, effective operational controls and continuous improvement to support the ongoing growth of the India business.
Business Administration
Key Duties and responsibilities:
Lead the day-to-day delivery of business administration services.
Develop and maintain effective administrative systems, processes and procedures.
Coordinate office administration, facilities and business support activities.
Support the implementation of business systems and digital tools that improve efficiency.
Ensure company records and documentation are maintained accurately and securely.
Corporate Governance And Company Secretarial
Act as the local liaison with the Group Company Secretariat and external advisers on statutory and corporate governance matters.
Coordinate local company secretarial activities and support statutory filings in accordance with Indian regulatory requirements.
Support the preparation of Board and shareholder meetings, including the coordination of agendas, papers and minutes.
Maintain statutory registers and governance documentation.
Promote compliance with Group governance standards and local corporate requirements and help develop local corporate standards.
Financial Control And Reporting
Own the coordination of budgeting and forecasting activities for the India entity.
