Role Description This is a full time, on-site Sr Captain role based at Shiv Niwas Palace in Udaipur. The Sr Captain oversees daily restaurant or banquet operations, including managing service staff, coordinating table assignments, and ensuring timely and accurate order delivery. The role involves supervising guest service standards,



handling special requests and complaints, and maintaining a welcoming, professional atmosphere in dining areas. The Sr Captain collaborates with the kitchen and bar teams to coordinate menus, events, and service sequences, and supports training and mentoring of junior staff. Additional responsibilities include monitoring cleanliness and presentation, assisting with inventory and stock checks, and adhering to safety, hygiene, and company policies.
Qualifications

Strong background in food and beverage service, with experience in fine dining or luxury hotel environments.
Proven ability to supervise and motivate service teams, including mentoring junior staff and coordinating shifts.
Excellent guest service and communication skills, with the ability to handle guest feedback and resolve issues professionally.
Knowledge of restaurant operations, menu coordination, billing procedures, and basic POS systems.
