About CreditSea
CreditSea is a digital lending platform disbursing ₹300cr+ monthly. Our Loan Origination and Loan Management Systems are built fully in-house — we don't outsource critical infrastructure to vendors. We're looking for someone who wants to own systems end-to-end, not integrate someone else's black box.

The Role

We need a Head of Engineering to lead the team building and scaling our in-house LOS/LMS, payment infrastructure, and the systems underpinning credit decisioning at scale. This is a hands-on leadership role — you'll set technical direction, grow the team, and stay close enough to the code to make valuable calls under regulatory and scale pressure simultaneously.

What you'll own
Architecture and scaling of the in-house LOS/LMS as disbursement volume grows
Payment/settlement infrastructure reliability (UPI-heavy repayment flows, reconciliation, NACH)
Engineering hiring, mentorship, and team structure as we scale from current headcount
Technical partnership with Risk & Analytics on model deployment, data pipelines,



and interpretability requirements (aligned with RBI's draft Model Risk Management Guidance)
Security and compliance posture for PII-sensitive systems (encryption, access control, audit logging)
Vendor dependency strategy — deciding what stays in-house vs. what's outsourced, and building swappable architecture where vendors are used
On-call/incident response culture and engineering velocity standards

What we're looking for
8+ years of engineering experience, with 3+ years leading teams, ideally at a fintech, NBFC, or high-scale transactional system
Strong systems fundamentals — distributed systems, databases, API design at scale
Experience operating under regulatory constraints (RBI, PCI-DSS) is a strong plus
A bias toward building and owning over buying, without being dogmatic about it
Comfortable being hands-on when needed, not just a people manager
