LV8 Tech is an AI-native engineering pod building custom platforms for our clients and our own ventures, primarily in the health and AI sectors. We are looking for our first dedicated VR/XR developer to lead the exploration of immersive technologies and their potential to connect with our existing AI and data platforms. This is an opportunity to define our strategy and build our foundational prototypes in this space.
This is a salaried, full-time position. You will be responsible for researching, prototyping, and demonstrating how XR can create value for our users, starting with experiments on contemporary smart glasses and standalone headsets. You will own our XR development process from the ground up, working directly with our engineering team to integrate with our backend systems and AI services.
What you'll do
Research and prototype immersive experiences that connect with our AI and health platforms.
Build and test interactions, navigation, UI, and object manipulation for XR prototypes.




Work with Unity or Unreal Engine to develop and optimize applications for standalone headsets and smart glasses.
Integrate data from our APIs to create meaningful visualizations and experiences in 3D.Profile and optimize applications for frame rate, memory usage, and rendering performance on target hardware.Conduct headset-based testing and debugging to refine prototypes.
Document experiments, technical approaches, and findings to inform our future XR strategy.
Collaborate with our engineering team to explore integration points with our existing platforms.
What we're looking for
Strong working knowledge of Unity with C# or Unreal Engine with Blueprints/C++.
A portfolio, demo reel, or link to published projects demonstrating your practical VR/XR work.
Experience building and deploying applications for Meta Quest or another standalone VR headset.
Solid understanding of 3D environments, lighting, materials, and asset integration pipelines.Ability to profile, debug, and optimize the perfor
