Off-Page SEO & AI SEO Intern / Fresher
Key Responsibilities
Off-Page SEO:
Build high-quality backlinks through guest posting, directory submissions, blog commenting, forum participation, and social bookmarking
Identify and pursue link-building opportunities via outreach (email/LinkedIn) to relevant websites and publications
Conduct competitor backlink analysis to find new link opportunities
Manage and maintain NAP consistency across directories and citation sites
Support Google Business Profile optimization and local SEO citation building
Track and report backlink profile health (spam score, domain authority, referring domains)
Assist with digital PR activities — press release distribution, journalist/blogger outreach
AI SEO / GEO / AEO:
Assist in optimizing content so it gets cited/referenced by AI tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews)
Research how AI search engines source and structure answers, and apply learnings to content structure
Support structured data/schema markup implementation to improve machine-readability of content
Monitor brand visibility and mentions across AI platforms and LLM-based search
Assist in creating FAQ-style, answer-first content formats suited for AI Overviews and voice/AI search
Stay updated on evolving AI search algorithms and generative engine optimization trends
