Role Description The Unit Finance Head is a full-time, in office role based in Becharaji, responsible for overseeing all financial operations of the manufacturing unit. This position manages budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial planning to support business goals and operational efficiency. The role includes monitoring cash flow, managing financial risk, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, and coordinating audits.

The Unit Finance

Head will prepare and present financial reports to senior leadership, support decision-making with data-driven insights, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on cost optimization and capital expenditure planning.



The role also involves leading and developing the unit finance team, implementing robust internal controls, and driving continuous improvement in financial processes.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cost management in a manufacturing or automotive environment.
- Proficiency in financial reporting, analysis, and use of ERP/financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Sound knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, compliance, and audit processes.
- Demonstrated ability in stakeholder management, cross-functional collaboration, and team leadership.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field; professional qualifications such as CA, CMA, or MBA (Finance) preferred.
- Experience in automotive or component manufacturing units, ideally in a plant or unit finance leadership role.
- Capability to work on-site in Becharaji and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced industrial setting.
