About The Role We are looking for a detail-oriented UK Accountant with strong experience in year-end accounts finalisation. You will manage financial reporting, reconciliations, and compliance for a portfolio of UK-based clients. This is a role that combines technical expertise, independence, and client interaction.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and finalise accounts for UK companies (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, reconciliations, annual accounts, and reports).
- Handle FRS 105 and FRS 102 1A accounts for diverse business structures (limited companies, partnerships, sole traders).
- Work confidently on accounting platforms including CCH, Iris, Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks.
- Analyse general ledgers, record journal entries, and post year-end adjustments.
- Prepare UK Corporation Tax (CT600) returns.




- Collaborate directly with clients, providing high-quality service and clear communication.
- Stay up to date with UK taxation and payroll guidelines.
- Manage tasks independently with minimal supervision.

What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in UK year-end accounting.
- Strong technical skills in financial reporting and reconciliations.
- Excellent knowledge of UK tax and compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Xero/Sage/QuickBooks/CCH).
- Robust communication skills and ability to work directly with international clients.
