About Company:

Sidhakala Group of Industries, established in 1997, is a leading manufacturer of press components, press tooling and welded assemblies. The group operates through two manufacturing units:

- Sidhakala Engineers – Bhosari Plant
- Sidhakala Autostamping Pvt Ltd– Chakan Plant

Major customers include Force Motors, Piaggio, Kinetic Engineering, Minda and Jai Hind Industries. The company has an in-house tool room for manufacturing and maintenance of press tools.

Essential Qualifications

- B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Tool Room / Press Tool Manufacturing / Tool Engineering.
- Robust practical experience in press tool manufacturing and maintenance.
- Experience in machining, grinding, Wire Cut/EDM, milling, fitting and tool assembly.
- Good understanding of tool manufacturing processes, tool proving and tool corrections.
- Experience in managing Tool Room manpower and machines.
- Strong knowledge of tool manufacturing cost calculation and cost control.

Preferred Experience Candidates with experience in an automotive / auto-component manufacturing environment will be preferred.

Experience in managing a Tool Room as a cost centre/profit centre, including budgeting, costing, manpower and productivity management, will be highly desirable.

Authority & Accountability The Head – Tool Room will be accountable for:

People + Machines + Cost + Quality + Delivery + Maintenance + Productivity + Profitability The position will have authority, within the company's approved policies and delegation matrix, to allocate manpower, prioritize jobs, control overtime, recommend outsourcing, make Make-or-Buy recommendations, coordinate machine maintenance/AMC activities and initiate improvement actions.

Overall Objective To establish and operate a high-productivity, cost-effective and profitable Tool Room capable of delivering high-quality new press tools on time while ensuring reliable maintenance and maximum availability of production tools.
