Manager Civil
Location: Navi Mumbai
Qualification: Degree in Civil Engineering / Construction Management
Experience: Minimum 18-25 years in the construction industry
Role Overview
The Manager Civil is responsible for overseeing construction activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards and contractual requirements. The role involves managing subcontractors, resources, construction planning, stakeholder relationships, and site performance while supporting the development of project teams.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and monitor overall construction progress, subcontractor performance, and resource utilization.
Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, project safety plans, and local regulations.
Oversee construction quality and ensure works are delivered in accordance with approved designs and project quality standards.
Monitor project costs, forecasts, and productivity to achieve budget objectives.
Identify, report, and manage design changes and construction modifications.
Coordinate with clients,
consultants, engineers, and project stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Maintain construction records, reports, and project documentation.
Lead, mentor, and develop site teams while promoting knowledge and technology transfer.
Ensure effective planning, execution, and optimization of plant, labor, and subcontract resources.
Prepare project and end-of-contract reports as required.
Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience in managing large-scale construction projects and site operations.
Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, planning, and project execution.
Sound understanding of cost control, quality management, and contract administration.
Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and team development skills.
Solid written and verbal communication abilities.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver project objectives efficiently.
