Role Overview:
Hands-on experience in welding inspection and quality control, with valuable knowledge of welding processes such as MIG/MAG, TIG, and SMAW, weld fit-up, visual inspection, weld defects, WPS/PQR requirements, and applicable welding quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Inspect incoming raw materials, fabricated components, welding works, surface finishes, and completed assemblies.
2. Review and verify fabrication and installation works against approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
3. Conduct dimensional inspections and ensure accuracy, alignment, fit-up, and finish quality.
4. Monitor welding activities and ensure compliance with approved welding procedures, specifications, and required quality standards.
