Job Description

Process telephone and email reservations according to room and rate availability, ensuring that full and accurate details are obtained and input accordingly into PMS.
Deal with travel agent bookings, vouchers, and credit requests, ensuring that the hotel’s policy is always adhered to.
Process all reservations and extranet messages, ensuring that all bookings are accurate.
To be fully conversant with rate groups and sales accounts procedures.




To ensure that all reservation standards and procedures are met for reservations and system input.
Update reservations, to input and record cancellations and amendments, making sure all bookings are accurate.
To liaise with sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure that VIP guests are recognised as part of the VIP procedures, including room allocations, amenities, and arrival welcome.
To determine from reservations any sales leads for future business and ensure these are passed to the sales department.
Ensure reservations are taken accurately & traces are in place for the front office to follow up as required.
Ensure that reservations include accurate billing details and that the accounts department has the required backup.
