As an Associate Engineer – Backend, you'll work on real production systems from day one, contribute to products used by thousands of merchants, and learn from experienced engineers while building scalable backend services. We value solid fundamentals, curiosity, and the ability to learn quickly over years of experience.

What You'll Own

Build and maintain backend services using Node.js and NestJS, while gradually gaining exposure to Go.




Develop and optimize APIs and backend components that power GoKwik's products at scale.
Work with PostgreSQL and MongoDB, while learning technologies such as Redis, Kafka, and AWS.
Debug production issues, write reliable tests, and improve code quality across services.
Collaborate with senior engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and technical problem-solving.
Take ownership of assigned tasks and progressively grow toward delivering end-to-end features independently.
Continuously improve your understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and backend engineering best practices.

Who You Are

Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and computer science fundamentals.
Comfortable programming in JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
Familiar with relational and NoSQL database concepts.
Passionate about backend engineering and eager to learn modern distributed systems.
