Aurora Labs is a Bengaluru and New York based tech studio building products at the intersection of AI and media.

Aurora Labs is currently building a Curia, a personal media platform that turns saved links into tailored audio shows designed around each user’s interests and lifestyle.

We are a small, experienced group of builders and operators who have shipped AI and consumer products at scale and believe media should help people become sharper, not more distracted.

Role Description
This is a full-time engineering remote internship. You'll work across the stack, frontend and backend, split between Curia and other experiments we're running under Aurora Labs.
Expect to ship real features that go live, not scoped-down practice projects.
You'll build UI in React Native/Expo, work on FastAPI/Python backend services, and touch the data pipelines that power our AI-generated content, including direct work with voice models for our audio generation pipeline.





You'll work directly with the founding team, which means fast feedback loops and real ownership from week one.

Internship Duration
6-8 weeks

Qualifications
Robust CS fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, systems basics
Comfortable across the stack, some exposure to both frontend (React/React Native) and backend (Python or similar)
Can write clean code and ship without heavy hand-holding
Curious about AI/ML and media products, bonus if you've built something on your own
Prior experience with voice models (TTS, voice cloning, speech synthesis) is a strong plus — you'll be working directly with them
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in CS, Engineering, or related field
Bias for action over perfect planning
