This is a full time,ITI Turner Apprentice role focused on learning and supporting precision machining operations. The apprentice will Trained under the guidance of experienced Trainer to operate and assist in maintaining VMC/CNC machines and equipment, prepare and clamp workpieces, and select appropriate tools and cutting parameters. Daily tasks include following engineering drawings and job specifications, measuring components with basic instruments, performing routine cleaning and upkeep of machines, and documenting work carried out. The Apprentice also involves adhering to safety standards, cooperating with supervisors and team members, and actively participating in on-the-job training and skill development programs.
Qualifications
Completed ITI Turner or equivalent vocational training with fundamental knowledge of turning operations.
Basic understanding of machine tools, lathe operations, cutting tools, and use of measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
Awareness of industrial safety practices and willingness to follow all safety and quality guidelines.
Good manual dexterity, attention to detail, and ability to stand and work around machines for extended periods.
Willingness to learn, take feedback, and work collaboratively with technicians, engineers, and supervisors.
