About Invictron

Invictron Systems develops autonomous defense technologies that operate reliably in GNSS-denied, GPS-contested, and electronically hostile environments. The company builds end-to-end autonomous warfare solutions, including intelligent ground control systems, UAV software, and real-time object detection, tracking, and aiming to enhance situational awareness and decision-making. Founded and led by IIT alumni and mentors, Invictron focuses on creating sovereign battlefield autonomy for India, reducing reliance on imported drone and UAV systems. While its primary focus is defense and aerospace, Invictron also aims to adapt these technologies for commercial applications, driving broader real-world impact. We're a small team. Role

We are looking for a hands-on Drone Pilot / UAV Flight Test Engineer to test, validate, and deploy experimental UAV systems. You will work closely with AI, robotics, embedded, and hardware teams to turn prototypes into reliable field-ready platforms.

Responsibilities




• Fly multirotor (fixed-wing UAVs are an advantage)
• Conduct manual, assisted, and autonomous flight tests
• Plan missions using Mission Planner and QGroundControl
• Work with Betaflight and INAV
• Analyse flight logs, telemetry, and test data
• Perform calibration, tuning, and troubleshooting
• Support payload, telemetry, communication, and hardware integration
• Conduct pre-flight and post-flight checks
• Support customer demonstrations and field trials
• Travel across India for testing and deployment

Requirements
• Hands-on 2-3 years of UAV flying experience
• Knowledge of Mission Planner, QGroundControl, Betaflight, and INAV
• Experience with ArduPilot and/or PX4
• Understanding of flight controllers, GPS, telemetry, radio links, batteries, motors, ESCs, and payloads
• Ability to analyze flight logs and troubleshoot field issues
• Basic understanding of UAV design and system integration
