Role Description
To supervise and manage day-to-day housekeeping operations within a hospital, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, infection-control practices, patient safety, and service quality in accordance with hospital protocols and client requirements.




Key Responsibilities
Supervise housekeeping staff and allocate daily duties across wards, patient rooms, OPD areas, ICUs, laboratories, OT support areas, corridors, public areas, and other hospital facilities.
Ensure cleaning and disinfection activities are carried out as per hospital SOPs and infection-control standards.
Monitor housekeeping staff attendance, grooming, discipline, productivity, and performance.
Conduct regular inspections and ensure all assigned areas meet prescribed hygiene and cleanliness standards.
Ensure correct use, dilution, storage, and handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Coordinate with nursing, medical, security, engineering, and other hospital departments for smooth operations.
Ensure proper segregation, collection, and handling of hospital waste as per applicable biomedical-waste procedures.
