Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Java with IBM Sterling OMS Lead with 10+ years of overall experience and strong hands-on expertise in Java development, microservices, and Order Management Systems. The candidate must have deep practical experience with IBM Sterling OMS and should be capable of leading technical solutions across order processing, inventory, sourcing, and fulfillment workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Lead design, development, configuration, customization, and integration of IBM Sterling OMS solutions.
Develop scalable applications using Java 8/11/17+, J2EE, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
Configure and customize Sterling OMS components including APIs, User Exits, Agents, Services, Pipelines, and business rules.
Design and implement microservices-based solutions and enterprise integrations.
Work closely with business and technical teams to understand order management and fulfillment requirements.
Provide technical leadership, code reviews, troubleshooting,



and performance optimization.
Design and implement integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and messaging platforms.
Support end-to-end order processing, inventory management, sourcing, and fulfillment workflows.
Mandatory Skills & Experience
The following skills are mandatory and must be clearly demonstrated in the candidate's resume:
10+ years of overall IT experience.
Robust hands-on Java development experience with Java 8/11/17+.
Deep hands-on experience with IBM Sterling OMS — this is a mandatory requirement.
Robust knowledge of Sterling OMS APIs, User Exits, Agents, Services, Pipelines, and configuration/customization.
Practical experience in Order Management System workflows, including:
Order processing
Inventory management
Order sourcing
Fulfillment
Shipment/order lifecycle
Strong experience with Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
Hands-on experience with microservices architecture.
Solid knowledge of J2EE
