About the Role
We're looking for a Business Development Head to lead client acquisition and closures at our Ujjain showroom of modular furniture which is also a franchise of Livspace India. This role is ideal for someone who has worked in the interior design/architecture ecosystem, understands how projects are won, and knows how to close high-value clients — whether homeowners, builders, or architects.
You'll have full ownership of the sales process at the showroom, the freedom to bring in current ideas and initiatives, and a direct hand in shaping our growth in this market.
What You'll Do
• Own end-to-end business development for the Ujjain showroom — from lead generation to deal closure
• Build and maintain relationships with architects, builders, contractors, and direct clients in the interior design space
• Convert showroom walk-ins and inbound leads into signed projects
• Represent Skara Design Co at industry events, site visits, and client meetings
• Design and pitch new outreach strategies, partnerships, and local marketing initiatives to drive leads
• Track pipeline, forecast numbers, and report on sales performance
• Work closely with the design and execution teams to ensure a smooth client handover post-closure
What We're Looking For
• Proven experience in business development/sales within the interior design, architecture, or related space (real estate, furniture, building materials, etc.)
• A strong track record of closing clients and hitting revenue targets
