Role Description The Mechanical Engineer – Plant Engineering (Electrical & Mechanical Department) is a full-time, in office role based in Hyderabad. The person in this position will be responsible for overseeing mechanical and related electrical aspects of plant equipment, including installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of machinery used in API and intermediates manufacturing. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring equipment performance, coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance,
supporting utility systems, and ensuring minimal downtime. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams on machine design improvements, implementing engineering changes, and supporting safety and compliance requirements. The Mechanical Engineer will also assist in project execution, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives within the plant engineering function.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering with practical experience in plant or manufacturing environments.
Skills in Machine Design and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) for equipment layouts, modifications, and technical drawings.
Experience in Project Management for engineering projects, equipment upgrades, and facility improvements.
Exposure to Research and Development (R&D;) activities related to process optimization, new equipment evaluation, or technology upgrades.
Bachelor’s degree (or
