Programming and promotions lead:
We are seeking candidates who can plan, manage and execute arts and cultural programmes, involving events, exhibitions, workshops, talks, etc. for a literary, art and culture centre in Koramangala, Bengaluru. This self-directed individual will take responsibility of running an art and culture centre from a programming and campaign viewpoint.
They should be passionate about bringing people together at the space for performing arts (theatre, music, dance) and other art forms. Candidates are expected to establish cordial relationship with artistes in Bengaluru and those visiting the city. The role also involves collaborating with other literary, art and culture spaces in the city and look for events / workshops that can be hosted at the IHA.
Apart from the overall programme management, this role will serve as a key point of contact at the IHA who will also work closely with the facilities-in-charge to ensure seamless execution of events and activities.

Responsibilities: This role requires robust project management,



communication and stakeholder management skills.
Lead the planning and execution of events, including logistics, scheduling and on-site management.
Collaborating with various stakeholders including artists, partners and audience.
Overseeing programme budget and ensure financial accountability.
Liaise with internal communications team and develop campaign materials and promote programmes using appropriate channels.
Prepare weekly / monthly reports and evaluate reach and effect of the programmes.

Requirements:
Proven ability to manage complex projects from initiation to completion.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with diverse audiences. Knowledge of Kannada will be an added advantage.
A strong understanding and appreciation of arts and culture. (A degree or training in the discipline will be an added advantage.)
Ability to build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders.
