Role Description The Manufacturing Chemist is a full time role based in New Delhi. This role involves developing and optimizing cosmetic and personal care formulations, from concept through to stability and performance testing. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting laboratory experiments, evaluating raw materials, performing analytical tests, and documenting results in accordance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.



The chemist will collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing, production, and quality to refine product specifications, support scale-up, and troubleshoot formulation or manufacturing issues. The role also includes maintaining laboratory best practices, staying current with cosmetic science trends, and contributing to continuous improvement of Sterling Naturals’ product portfolio.
Qualifications
Experience in Research and Development (R&D;) for cosmetics or personal care, including formulation design and process optimization.
Hands-on Laboratory Skills, including safe handling of chemicals, preparation of samples, and use of standard cosmetic testing equipment.
Knowledge of Coatings and surface applications relevant to cosmetic formulations, such as films, finishes, or protective layers.
Background in Quality Control, including stability testing, specification checks, and adherence to regulatory and internal standards.
Bachelor’s or Master
