About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to lead complex software development and data engineering initiatives. This leadership role requires a blend of technical expertise, project management acumen, and a deep understanding of data platforms and engineering processes. The ideal candidate will have a background in software development or data engineering, with proven experience managing cross-functional teams and delivering high-quality solutions within Agile frameworks.

As a key driver of project success, you will serve as the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating strategic objectives into actionable technical plans.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 8-15 years of professional experience is required, with at least 4 years in a Technical Project Manager, Project Manager, or Scrum Master role, preferably with a background in software development or data engineering. Strong technical proficiency in data engineering technologies such as ETL/ELT, SQL, Python, Data Warehousing, Snowflake,



Databricks, Azure Data Factory, or similar platforms is essential.

Certification as a ScrumMaster (CSM), PMI-ACP, or an equivalent Agile certification is mandatory. Familiarity with project management tools like JIRA, Confluence, Trello, or Azure DevOps is also required. Candidates should demonstrate excellent stakeholder communication, team leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Experience with AI/ML or Generative AI projects will be considered an added advantage.

Responsibilities

- Lead and manage cross-functional engineering teams to deliver high-quality software and data engineering projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and client needs.
- Act as the primary liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating complex business requirements into effective technical and data solutions.
- Own and oversee the entire Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and project delivery processes, ensuring adherence to Agile and Scrum best practices.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, backlog grooming, and product demos to promote transparency and continuous improvement.
- Identify potential risks, dependencies, and issues early, proactively managing mitigation strategies to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
- Coordinate task breakdowns, sprint tracking, effort estimation, resource allocation,



and timeline management to optimize project delivery.
- Collaborate closely with Data Engineers, Developers, Architects, and Product teams to ensure technical solutions are aligned with business objectives and technical standards.
- Drive projects involving data engineering, ETL/ELT pipelines, data platforms, data warehouses, and data modernization initiatives to support strategic business goals.
- Monitor project progress and team performance using tools like JIRA or equivalent Agile project management platforms, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
- Implement and oversee DevOps practices, data quality assurance, testing strategies, deployment, and release management to streamline operations and ensure reliability.
