About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Project Manager to join our dynamic team at Kanerika Inc. This leadership role requires a blend of technical expertise in software development and data engineering, along with strong project management capabilities. The ideal candidate will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex data engineering and software projects, ensuring they align with business objectives and adhere to best practices in Agile and Scrum methodologies.

This position offers an exciting chance to lead cross-functional teams, manage stakeholder expectations, and drive innovative data solutions that impact our clients' success.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. They should have between 8 to 15 years of qualified experience, with at least 4 years in a Technical Project Manager, Project Manager, or Scrum Master role. Prior hands-on experience in software development or data engineering is essential.

Candidates must demonstrate strong technical knowledge in data engineering technologies such as ETL/ELT, SQL, Python,



Data Warehousing, Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, or similar platforms.

Certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), PMI-ACP, or equivalent Agile credentials are mandatory. Proficiency with project management tools like JIRA, Confluence, Trello, or Azure DevOps is required. Strong stakeholder communication, leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are essential. Exposure to AI/ML or Generative AI projects will be considered an added advantage.

Responsibilities

- Lead and manage cross-functional engineering teams to deliver high-quality software and data engineering projects, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating complex business requirements into effective technical and data solutions.
- Own the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and project delivery lifecycle, ensuring adherence to Agile and Scrum best practices.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, backlog grooming, and product demos to promote transparency and continuous improvement.
- Identify potential risks, dependencies, and issues proactively, implementing mitigation strategies to maintain project momentum.
- Oversee task breakdowns, sprint tracking, effort estimation, resource allocation, and project timelines to ensure smooth project execution.




- Collaborate with Data Engineers, Developers, Architects, and Product Managers to align technical solutions with strategic business goals.
- Drive projects involving data engineering, ETL/ELT pipelines, data platforms, data warehouses, and data modernization initiatives to enhance data capabilities.
- Monitor project progress using Agile project management tools such as JIRA, ensuring milestones are met and quality standards are maintained.
- Implement and oversee DevOps practices, data quality assurance, testing strategies, deployment, and release management to ensure seamless delivery.
