Role Description The Team Lead role at Paytm is a full-time, in office position based in Jammu.

The Team

Lead will oversee a local team, set daily priorities, and ensure that operational and performance targets are met. This role includes monitoring team metrics, conducting regular check-ins, resolving escalations, and coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders to improve service quality and efficiency.

The role also involves preparing reports, communicating updates clearly, and representing the team in local and regional meetings.

Qualifications

- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team, with experience in setting goals and managing performance.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with team members, customers, and cross-functional partners.
- Solid organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with digital payments, fintech, or customer operations, preferably in high-growth or technology-driven environments.
- Comfort with data and basic reporting tools to track metrics, identify trends, and support decisions.
- Ability to work on-site in Jammu and adapt to dynamic business needs and evolving processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in a supervisory or team lead role is strongly preferred.
