Role Description The Team Lead Internal Audit is a full-time, on-site role based in Ludhiana. The role involves planning, leading, and executing internal audits across diverse client organizations, including risk assessments, process reviews, and control testing. The team lead will prepare detailed audit reports, highlight control gaps, recommend improvements, and follow up on remediation actions.

Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising and mentoring audit team members, coordinating audit schedules, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations, and liaising with client management to discuss findings and action plans.



The role also includes contributing to the development of internal audit methodologies, supporting risk consulting assignments, and ensuring that all work meets the firm’s quality and professional standards.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in auditing and assurance, including internal audit methodologies, risk assessment, and internal controls.
- Knowledge of accounting and taxation principles, with exposure to direct and indirect tax considerations in audit contexts.
- Experience in risk consulting or advisory, including process improvement, compliance reviews, and strategic recommendations.
- Proficiency in documentation and reporting, with the ability to prepare clear, concise, and well-structured audit reports.
- Leadership and team management skills, including mentoring, delegation, and performance oversight of audit staff.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present findings and negotiate action plans with clients.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality deliverables.
- Professional qualification such as Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent; prior experience in a CA firm or corporate internal audit function is highly desirable.
- Ability to work on-site in Ludhiana, manage multiple engagements, and meet deadlines in a agile environment.
