Role Description The Student Counsellor is a full-time, on-site role based in Nashik. The person in this position will meet and counsel students and families, understand their academic background and career goals, and guide them in selecting appropriate countries, universities, and courses. Daily responsibilities include conducting one-on-one counselling sessions, explaining admission procedures and documentation, and supporting students through application and visa processes.

The role also involves coordinating exam preparation guidance for English language tests, maintaining accurate student records, and following up with prospective students via phone, email, and in-person meetings.

Counsellor will collaborate with colleagues to stay updated on changing international education requirements, scholarship opportunities, and institutional partnerships, while consistently providing clear, ethical, and supportive guidance.

Qualifications

- Strong student counselling and advisory skills, with the ability to understand individual goals and recommend suitable study abroad options.
- Knowledge of international education systems, admission processes, and scholarship opportunities, particularly for destinations such as the USA, UK, Australia, Dubai, Canada, and Ireland.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including clear spoken and written English and the ability to build trust with students and families.
- Organizational and time-management skills, with experience handling multiple student cases, maintaining documentation, and meeting deadlines.
- Basic computer proficiency, including email, office productivity tools, and student record management systems.
- Ability to work in office in Nashik, collaborate with team members, and adapt to updated processes and changing regulations.
- Preferred: Prior experience in student counselling, study abroad consulting, or education services; familiarity with English language exams (e.g., IELTS, TOEFL, PTE).
- Educational background in Counseling, Education, Psychology, Management, or a related field is an advantage.
