Role Description The Student Counsellor / Academic Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based at the SSi Digital Academy Bhawarkua Centre in Indore. This role involves guiding prospective and current learners in selecting suitable programs aligned with their academic background, interests, and career goals. The advisor will conduct counselling sessions, explain course structures, clarify learning outcomes, and support learners through admission, enrollment, and onboarding processes.

Day-to-day responsibilities include handling inquiries (walk-in, phone, and digital), maintaining accurate learner records, coordinating with training and placement teams, and tracking learner progress and satisfaction. The role also includes organizing information sessions, contributing to outreach activities, and providing ongoing academic and career guidance to support successful course completion and job readiness.

- Candidates should possess strong Student Counseling skills, with the ability to guide learners on program selection, academic pathways, and skill development.




- Candidates should possess Career Counseling skills to help learners map training programs to specific job roles, industry requirements, and long-term career plans.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication, active listening, and the ability to explain technical concepts in accessible language.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to handle inquiries professionally, manage expectations, and maintain a supportive and respectful learner experience.
- Candidates should possess Education-related knowledge, ideally with familiarity in technology or professional training environments and an understanding of contemporary career pathways.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include experience in academic advising or training institutes, comfort working with digital tools and CRM systems, and the ability to collaborate with placement and faculty teams.
- Career Counseling & Enrollments: Conduct face-to-face counseling with walk-in students, handle inbound calls/WhatsApp leads, explain course curriculums, and meet enrollment targets.
- Social Media Management: Plan, publish, and manage engaging posts, stories, and reels across our social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and WhatsApp).
- AI-Powered Content Generation: Utilize AI productivity tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Canva AI, Copy.ai) to draft captions, marketing copy, graphics, and promotional messaging efficiently.
- Lead Generation & Follow-ups: Maintain the lead pipeline, execute follow-up campaigns, and announce upcoming batch launches and free demo classes.
- A Bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, management, or a related field is preferred; prior experience in student-facing roles will be an advantage.
