Role Description The Structural Engineer will work full time, in office in Mumbai, designing and reviewing structural systems for renewable energy projects, including solar and wind facilities.

Responsibilities include performing structural analysis and design calculations, preparing and checking engineering drawings and specifications, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and safety requirements. The role involves coordinating closely with civil, electrical, and project engineering teams, as well as external consultants and contractors, to support project execution from concept through construction.

The Structural

Engineer will conduct site visits, assess structural integrity, provide technical guidance during installation and commissioning,



and contribute to optimization of designs for cost, performance, and reliability. The position also requires preparing technical reports, supporting tender and permitting documentation, and participating in continuous improvement of design tools and processes.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of structural analysis and design, including foundations, steel and concrete structures, and load calculations for solar and wind projects.
- Proficiency with structural engineering software (e.g., STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAP2000, or similar) and CAD tools for drawing and modeling.
- Familiarity with relevant Indian and international building codes, standards, and safety regulations applicable to renewable energy infrastructure.
- Excellent technical writing and documentation skills for reports, calculations, specifications, and design reviews.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Prior experience in structural design for infrastructure or energy projects; experience in renewable energy is an advantage.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams, manage deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail capabilities, with a commitment to quality and safety.
- Professional certification or eligibility for registration with a recognized engineering body is a plus.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
