Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Structural Engineer to join our engineering team based in Bengaluru. The successful candidate will be responsible for structural design, analysis, and technical support for project execution, ensuring that all solutions meet applicable engineering standards, project specifications, and quality requirements.

This role requires strong technical expertise in structural engineering, proficiency in design and drafting tools, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient and reliable engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare accurate 2D and 3D structural drawings using AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor in accordance with project requirements and company standards.
- Perform structural analysis and design calculations, and prepare supporting engineering documentation and reports.
- Develop detailed shop drawings and provide technical support to fabrication and project teams during project execution.
- Design and recommend customized structural solutions for specialized and non-standard project requirements.
- Review project specifications, drawings, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) to ensure technical feasibility and compliance with design requirements.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including engineering, façade, operations, supply chain, and logistics teams, to ensure successful project delivery.
- Prepare technical proposals, presentations, and engineering documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Generate material take-offs,



fabrication schedules, and cost estimates using internal tools and Microsoft Excel.
- Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards, company procedures, and project-specific requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity of all project-related information and documentation.

Qualifications and Experience

- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in structural design and analysis.
- Experience within the building systems, façade, fenestration, or aluminium systems industry will be considered an advantage.
- Candidates should be based in Bengaluru or willing to relocate.

Technical Skills

- Strong understanding of structural engineering principles, load calculations, and material behavior.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for drafting and detailing.
- Experience with Autodesk Inventor or other 3D modelling software is preferred.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, for quantity take-offs and cost calculations.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering standards.
