Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Structural 3D Modeler with hands-on experience in Oil &
- Gas, Offshore and Subsea projects. The candidate will be responsible for developing accurate 3D models and detailed engineering/fabrication drawings based on engineering calculations, design inputs, client specifications and applicable international standards.
The candidate should have good practical understanding of offshore/subsea structures and components such as Platforms, PLEMs, PLETs, Riser Clamps, Pipeline Supports, Structural Frames, Flanges and associated fabricated components.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop accurate 3D structural and mechanical models for Oil &
- Gas, Offshore and Subsea projects.
- Prepare models for PLEMs (Pipeline End Manifolds), PLETs, offshore platforms, structural skids, subsea frames, riser supports and clamps.
- Model structural steel members, plates, stiffeners, brackets, gussets, lifting points and equipment supports.
- Develop detailed models of Riser Clamps, Pipeline Clamps, Flanges, Hub/Flange interfaces, supports and associated components.
- Prepare models based on engineering calculations, design sketches, client drawings and technical specifications.
- Generate GA drawings, fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, sections and detailed views from approved 3D models.
- Develop fabrication details including plates, weld locations, bolted connections, interfaces and machining requirements based on engineering inputs.
- Ensure correct dimensions, tolerances, elevations, coordinates and interface points.
- Incorporate Engineer,
Client and Third-Party review comments into models and drawings.
- Coordinate structural interfaces with piping, pipeline, mechanical and subsea engineering teams.
- Identify clashes, interface issues and fabrication constraints during modeling.
- Support engineering and fabrication teams by providing accurate drawings and model information.
- Maintain proper drawing/model revisions and document control requirements.
- Perform self-checking of models and drawings prior to submission.

Qualification
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil, Structural or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent technical qualification with relevant Oil &
- Gas experience.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Preference will be given to candidates who have previously worked on Offshore Oil &
- Gas / Subsea engineering and fabrication projects and can independently understand engineering drawings and develop detailed 3D models of PLEMs, PLETs, platforms, riser clamps, pipeline supports, flanges and associated structural/mechanical components.
The candidate should have strong visualization ability, attention to detail, knowledge of fabrication practices and the ability to coordinate effectively with Structural, Pipeline, Piping and Mechanical Engineers.
