Role Description The Sr Perfumer role is a full time, on-site position based in Noida.

The Sr

Perfumer will lead the creation, development, and refinement of fragrances for personal care and cosmetic products, ensuring each formulation aligns with brand positioning, regulatory requirements, and market trends. Day-to-day responsibilities include evaluating raw materials, composing new fragrance accords, conducting stability and compatibility testing in various product bases, and optimizing scent performance across product lines. The role involves close collaboration with R&D;, product development, marketing,



and manufacturing teams to translate client briefs into commercially viable fragrances and to support scale-up from lab to production.

Perfumer will also manage fragrance libraries, maintain detailed formula documentation, contribute to innovation pipelines, and participate in client presentations and sensory evaluations.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in fragrance creation and evaluation, including olfactory skills, accord building, and familiarity with essential oils, aroma chemicals, and natural extracts.
- Experience working with personal care and cosmetic product bases (e.g., shampoos, creams, lotions, baby care, hygiene products) and understanding of fragrance stability and performance in these applications.
- Knowledge of relevant safety, regulatory, and industry standards for fragrances (e.g., IFRA guidelines, cosmetic regulations) and best practices for documentation and compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with R&D;, product development, and marketing teams to interpret briefs, present fragrance options, and refine concepts based on feedback.
- Strong analytical and research skills to track market trends, consumer preferences, and competitive products, and to incorporate insights into fragrance development.
- Effective communication skills, including the ability to describe scents clearly, provide structured feedback, and participate in sensory panels with internal teams and clients.
- Proven experience in managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines, and maintaining detailed formula records in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
