Role Description This is a full-time Jwellery Designer (Manual) role based in Mumbai, offered in a hybrid work model that allows a combination of on-site work and some work from home. The designer will create hand-drawn jewelry designs, develop new collections, and translate design concepts into detailed sketches and technical specifications for production. Daily tasks include collaborating with merchandising and production teams, selecting suitable materials and finishes, and ensuring accurate fittings and proportions in each piece.
The role involves staying informed about fashion and jewelry trends, integrating textile and embroidery elements where relevant, and maintaining design consistency with brand guidelines. The designer will also review prototypes, suggest refinements, and support quality checks before final pieces are released.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Fashion Design and Fashion concepts relevant to jewelry and accessories.
Knowledge of Textiles and Embroidery to incorporate fabric-driven or embellished elements into jewelry designs.
Understanding of Fitting, proportions, and wearability to ensure designs are comfortable and practical for customers.
Proficiency in manual sketching, illustration, and rendering of jewelry designs; familiarity with basic design tools is an advantage.
Attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to translate trends and customer preferences into market-ready designs.
