Key Responsibilities:
Product Development:
Collaborate with design and production teams to develop and execute new products based on market trends and customer preferences.
Ensure timely approval of prototypes and samples.
Order Management:
Coordinate with clients to understand their requirements and ensure smooth order processing from inception to delivery.
Maintain clear communication between clients and the production team to meet deadlines.
Market Analysis:
Conduct research to identify market trends,
competitor activities, and customer needs to support decision-making.
Suggest current designs or products to cater to emerging market demands.
Vendor & Supplier Coordination:
Source raw materials and packaging supplies while maintaining quality standards.
Negotiate prices and timelines with suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement.
Inventory & Stock Management:
Monitor stock levels to ensure the availability of products and materials.
Work closely with the inventory team to avoid overstocking or shortages.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure that all products meet the company’s quality standards before dispatch.
Address and resolve any quality-related issues promptly.
Reporting & Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of sales, orders, and stock.
Provide regular reports to management on merchandising activities and outcomes.
