Role Description The Sales Executive – Freight Forwarding role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The role involves identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, meeting potential and existing clients, and promoting the company’s freight forwarding and logistics services. The Sales Executive will prepare and present quotations, negotiate rates and terms, and follow up to close deals while maintaining accurate records of sales activities in CRM or designated systems.



Daily responsibilities include coordinating with operations and documentation teams to ensure smooth execution of shipments, resolving client queries, and providing regular updates and reports to management on sales pipelines and market trends. The role also requires building long-term relationships with customers, monitoring competitor activity, and contributing to targeted sales strategies to achieve revenue and margin goals.
Qualifications
Strong sales and business development skills, including prospecting, lead generation, and closing deals in freight forwarding or logistics.
Knowledge of international freight forwarding, shipping, and logistics processes, including ocean, air, and inland transportation.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to build and maintain professional client relationships.
