Job Description – Quality Analyst

Role Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Analyst with 2.5+ years of experience in manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate will be proactive, quality-focused, and capable of independently managing end-to-end testing activities. You will play a key role in ensuring high-quality delivery through effective test planning, execution, defect management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases, test scenarios, and test plans for web and mobile applications.
Perform manual testing along with basic automation testing to ensure product quality and reliability.
Conduct API testing (REST/SOAP) using tools like Postman or similar.
Identify, log, and track defects with clear reproduction steps, severity, and supporting evidence.
Execute regression testing to validate fixes and maintain system stability across releases.
Collaborate closely with developers, product owners,



and stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve issues effectively.
Maintain up-to-date test documentation, test reports, and dashboards.
Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
2.5-4 years of strong experience in Software Quality Assurance and Testing.
Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver with TestNG (or similar frameworks).
Solid experience in API Testing using Postman (REST APIs).
Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL for database validation.
Good understanding of test automation frameworks, concepts, and best practices.
Solid knowledge of Agile methodology and experience working in Scrum/Kanban environments.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
