Role Description The Assistant Fashion Designer will support the design team in creating and developing Indian wear collections, with a focus on contemporary and traditional styles. This full-time, on-site role in Delhi, India involves assisting with e-commerce website, whatsapp,etc. The role includes collaborating with production teams, providing input on embroidery and detailing, preparing technical specifications, and maintaining design documentation.



The Assistant Fashion Designer will also help track trends in Indian fashion, support sampling and quality checks, and contribute to timely collection launches.
Salary 2.5-3 LPA in hand.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Fashion Design and Fashion, with the ability to translate concepts into wearable garments.
Knowledge of Textiles and fabrics, including properties, drape, and suitability for Indian wear.
Practical experience with Embroidery techniques and surface embellishment for traditional and contemporary designs.
Skills in garment Fitting, pattern understanding, and attention to detail in construction and finishing.
Diploma or degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
Proficiency in basic design tools (manual sketching; familiarity with digital design software is an advantage).
Strong organizational skills, ability to work on-site in a quick-paced environment, and collaborate with diverse teams.
Interest in Indian ethnic wear and aware
